Wolverine As Mars

My entry for the "Plentiful Pantheon" contest on the Evo-Obsessed Club. Wolverine as Mars,the Roman god of war (or Ares in Greek)but I discovered that he was also the god of the rain,of fields,of fertility and the thunderbolt. I think that Logan has Roman origins for the story of Romulus(yeah,you know,the guy behind his orrible life...). I didn't draw Wolvie under the name of Ares because I'm Italian,and Mars is the father of Romulus (the founder of Rome) and Remus.I took the pose from here [link]
